Harder 81A - 86A wheels are easier to slide, and are recommended for slower speed sliding and new comers to free riding. Round lips will give the wheel a smoother break from traction, where as a sharper lip with grip the road more. A wider contract patch will grip more, and wash off more speed during your slide, where as a thinner contact patch will be easier to slide further. Centerset wheels grip the road evenly, and offer the best grip and control. Offset wheels offer a little less grip, and are great slide wheels for all level. Sideset wheels give your slide a drifty feel that will slide further. Smooth wheels come fresh, with a grippy coating that you'll need to 'break in', whereas stone ground wheels, have had the fresh sticky coating ground off already, so your first slides will be amazing!
