Warranty and Returns

As a genuine Australian skate shop all items sold are backed by a 12 month manufacturer’s warranty. This means if an item suffers from any manufacturers defect you are able to return that item under warranty. The manufacturer is not however responsible for what you do on a skateboard, if you decide to slide your wheels, run your board into a gutter, jump a 10 stair or anything else that is super cool but may damage your goods than you are responsible for that. If you pick the wrong size, colour, or simply want a different item Basement Skate is happy to exchange the item/s or provide you with a credit note, providing that the product is returned to us undamaged and in its original condition. You will however be responsible for all shipping costs required to swap an item. All returns must be submitted within 30 days of purchase date. 

Please note: Assembled products cannot be returned, this means custom completes or gripped skateboard decks

Defective Items

This means the product has a manufacturing default and is covered by the Manufacturers warranty, you can either contact the manufacturer directly (generally quicker) or you can contact Basement Skate and return the item to us

Items must be returned within 30 days of the purchase date to be eligible for replacement. Items will be replaced with the same item originally purchased. For items that cannot be replaced, a full refund will be offered.

How to return your item

Email info@basementskate.com.au or contact Basement Skate Customer Service team on (02) 8668 4658 . A staff member will evaluate your return request, record all the necessary product return information and give you the ok to send the item back to Basement Skate. Please do not send an item back to Basement Skate unless you have contacted our staff first. As soon as the return has been received and approved, a replacement product will be shipped. Replacement product will only be shipped after the faulty item has been received by Basement Skate.
