The Spitfire 56mm 99a Classic OG Skateboard Wheels are a great size for street skaters who want to through a bit of transition park in the mix. Coming in a OG conical full shape with the silver swirl and OG script, these wheels will roll fast and turn heads when you fly past. Made from Spitfires quality urethanes so they last.

Wheel Size -  The 56mm size is a great all round street and park size to hold more speed in the flats and better momentum in small transition, while offering a quick and predictable pop, with a more stable lock in to you grinds. A great size for average to full sized humans to flip and grind all the street and park features.

Wheel Shape / Profile: Conical Full - Conical refers to the cone shape produced by using flatter surfaces from the contact patch to the side of the wheel. Double Conical wheels were a popular shape in the late 1970’s. It either referred to a conical shape being used on the corner & from the wheel side to the bearing seat or a conical profile on both sides of the wheel. In recent years this shape has been modified to suit smaller hard wheels. It provides a nice shaped corner for slides, flatter wheel sides to lock into edges and wider contact patch. The Conical Full is around 2 to 3mm wider than it’s straight conical partner if you are looking for a little more grip and slide control over speed. For more info read Spitfire Wheel Shapes Explained

The Classic 99A formula: Formulated using the original Spitfire recipe, this classic formula is still very popular. It is a modern version and has been improved over time. It is trusted by Spitfire riders that have been riding them for years. Of the hard formulas if is a little more forgiving to ride on. The Classic formula is great go to wheel for any terrain and could be considered the best Spitfire all rounder. Being slightly softer it can flat spot a little easier than the newer tweaked Formula Four wheels. The nice thing with the Classics is the natural coloured wheels have a minty crisp white appearance.
