Popsicle Decks

Most skateboards fall into this category as a modern traditional skateboard. A popsicle has a rounded nose and tail shape, and two kicks. Street, park and technical skaters usually ride this style of board as it helps the board flip consistently and predictably. We stock popsicles shapes to suit all humans, from 7” to 9” inches wide.

Directional Double Kick & Old School Decks 

Directionals & old school decks have unique nose and tail shapes. Old school boards usually have a large tail kick with very little nose kick, if any. Directional double kicks are a bit wider and longer than your average popsicle and have some super cool shapes. They are stable, they stick to your feet like the carpet at a seedy club and offer faster shredding potential. Vert and bowl skaters tend to ride these boards. The varying shapes can add unique flair to the riding style / tricks. Old school and directional double kicks are perfect for transition. Skaters looking for a short stable and whippy commuter or someone looking to jazz up the ‘pool room’. 7 ply Hard Rock Maple Decks

7 ply Maple decks have been the industry standard for skateboard decks for nearly 30 years. 7 ply decks are strong, they wear well and it is widely accepted that 7 ply offers a superior riding feel. Carbon Fibre / Fibre Glass Composite Decks

Composite skateboard decks are known to be stronger and have a crispier, longer lasting pop when compared to a classic 7 ply deck. The Carbon fibre is configured in varying patterns, from impact protection covering the bolt areas from Almost, Darkstar, enjoi, Globe and Zero. Carbon can be covering the top layer of ply, which is the case for élan, Folklore, Miasma, Parlay and Scram decks. Powell Peralta Flight Decks are made with epoxy resins and fibre glass pressed between each layer of Canadian rock maple. The Flight deck is the skate industry’s strongest, most high tech and supremely epic deck to date.
